The guest house is in an excellent location in Beja, set in a charming square beside a church and directly next to the castle. From the moment you step inside, the interiors are truly stunning — the online photos simply don’t do them justice.
The common areas, courtyard and room were all spacious, beautifully kept and comfortable. Breakfast was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

A charming room with a unique layout and lovely thoughtful touches, including fresh flowers and lavender. The main areas of the property are beautiful, and the breakfast was both thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented — a delightful surprise.
A beautifully restored historic building, impeccably run and thoughtfully designed, where every detail feels carefully considered. It was a real pleasure to stay here and hear the owner share stories about the family’s history.
If you are arriving late, we highly recommend taking up the offer of a cold supper of fresh fruit, local cured meats and cheeses — beautifully presented and a lovely touch after a long journey.
Breakfast was also the best we had during our trip to Portugal, featuring produce from the family farm and freshly baked bread.
